Your responsibilities:
- Meeting with project managers to determine client needs.
- Contribute to technical discussion within the team and provide input for technical decisions
- Write documents, analyze, and extend the existing documentation and provide technical training
- Define and create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases considering the required test types
- Analyze system specifications and technical design documents to understand what needs to be tested
- Investigate incidents from a technical perspective, report bugs and assist the development team in the bug fixing process
To fit this post, we look after:
- Previous work experience (3 – 5 years) in manual testing
- Hands-on experience in complex projects in Financial, Banking, Utilities, Insurance etc., and have a good grasp of understanding business processes
- Experience with test management systems/ bug tracking tools
- Good knowledge of software development life cycles and test processes
- Experience with Gherkin
- Strong analytical skills and good communication skills
- ISTQB – Foundation Level would be considered a plus
- Previous experience of work in an agile driven project would be considered a plus
