Your responsibilities:

  • Create, put into place, and maintain the infrastructure required for software products to be delivered continuously.
  • Work together with the development, QA, and operations teams to guarantee timely and reliable delivery of software applications.
  • Implement and maintain automation tools and procedures, such as deployment, continuous integration, and configuration management.
  • Analyse and fix production-related problems, such as capacity planning and performance optimization.
  • Support and upkeep of the production environment's security and dependability.
  • Take part in the creation and execution of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Constantly assess and adopt new tools and technology to enhance the entire delivery process.

To fit this post, we look after:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS's cloud-based services and architecture.
  • Proficient knowledge of Kubernetes, particularly GitOps. FluxCD would be advantageous.
  • Being able to manage existing modules and setups and having solid Terraform knowledge.
  • Good GitOps skills. FluxCD might be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools, such as AWS Code Pipeline, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
  • Strong networking abilities: DNS, VPNs, and routing.
  • Strong Python and Bash scripting knowledge.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective teamwork and communication abilities.
